Local context
The Australian Salesforce market is dominated by global consulting firms (Deloitte, Accenture, IBM) at the top end and a long tail of small partners and freelancers below. There's a real gap in the middle — senior Salesforce expertise without the agency overhead, available with clear, fixed scope. That's the gap I work in. I deliver primarily remotely from Sydney to clients across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, and the rest of Australia. For most engagements, async-first delivery is faster and cheaper than the consulting alternative, and the quality is identical because the work is the same. AU citizenship and full local context (currency, timezone, regulatory) come standard.
How remote consulting works
All engagements default to async — I work from your sandbox or org via scoped access, deliver via PR, and document everything as I go. Kickoff call at the start, checkpoint call halfway, handover walkthrough at the end. For workshops, architecture sessions, or training, I travel to capital cities when the engagement justifies it. Most clients find that async delivery actually moves faster than coordinating call schedules across three or four people.
